ANOTHER OLFACTORY VISION

In 2020, we filed with industrial property institutions our representation of an olfactory form, a natural or synthetic scent material, a perfume.
OLFACTORY PYRAMID
Our studies of the language of perfumery have taught us the famous olfactory pyramid.
Does this name refer to the black earth, Kemet, name of Ancient Egypt, and its constructions?
A three-level reading to image the structure of a perfume by the representation in the plane form of a triangle.
Perfume is a volume.
It takes the form of its container and if it were represented by a polyhedron, it would be positioned in the angles.
We prefer a more curved, rounder version.
ANOTHER OLFACTORY VISION
Seen from the front, our shape could resemble that of a target, a boon for marketing departments.
We give it a more lyrical idea like a waveform caused by a drop of water, emanating from a perfume …
Our nose plunged into the mechanics of fluids.
In the center, the most evanescent molecules commonly called top notes.
If they were associated with the feeling of love, it would correspond to the seat of the emotion.
Then comes the passion with the appearance of heart notes.
All around, delimiting the trail, the base notes, symbols of a lasting but nevertheless ephemeral attachment.
Seen from the side, a conical figure evoking the volatility of its base to its summit, the apex.
At the latter, the most fleeting molecule could be ethanol in a fine fragrance composition.
