In November 2020, the school EFAP (www.efap.com) invited us to conduct online courses for students of the Specialized MBA Communication in Fashion Industry.
This training is the first dedicated to fashion from the angle of communication through both traditional means of communication and new digital media platforms.
It aims to cover all of the communication aspects specific to the fashion industry: fashion shows, fashion magazines, Instagram, podcasts, etc.
In addition, it makes learners aware of innovative development strategies such as artificial intelligence, connected clothing, 3D printing at home, or the arrival of new major players (Amazon Fashion or the CSR incubator La Barracks).
The perfume industry is historically linked to the fashion industry.
In this sense, EFAP, thanks to Marta Marcheva, PhD, director of the MBA, allowed us to introduce through these courses olfactory communication and the various existing scent techniques to be able to communicate fashion thanks to the vector of scent, thanks to the fragrance.
Concerning a common subject entitled « Dress me up with perfume », each student was able to choose an emblematic garment of a great designer and to imagine, inspired, its fragrance.
