For this new year, we are offering a master class at the International School of Health and Well-Being (EIBE) in Toulouse
This first training will focus on floral scents and will be based on our systematic scents.

A) OLFACTION & FLORAL ZONE

2.2 Introduction
- floral area
- Rose flowers (roses, geraniums, palmarosa, etc.)
- White flowers
- Jasmine flowers (grandiflorum, sambac etc.)
- Orange flowers (orange blossom, broom, etc.)
- Salicylated flowers (tuberose, ylang, cananga, etc.)
- Aniseed flowers (mimosa, lilac, heliotrope, etc.)
- Violet flowers (violet, boronia, cassia, osmanthus, etc.)
- Phenolic flowers (narcissus, daffodil, etc.)
B) PRACTICAL WORKSHOP
1) Exercise in creating a floral accord
Training aims :
- Awaken your sense of smell
- Classify your olfactory memory.
- Enrich your olfactory culture and perfume.
- Acquire skills in olfactory creation.
- Understand and improve the formulas according to the application and the desired effect.
- Learn the basics of perfume formulation by creating floral accords.
Training content :
Different disciplines will be covered:
- The botany of aromatic and perfume plants
- Production and origin of raw materials
- Physico-chemical analysis of natural raw materials (chromatography)
- The chemistry of natural and synthetic raw materials
- The physiology of olfaction (limbic system, cortex, etc.)
- The impact of synthetic molecules and natural raw materials in formulas
- Olfactory connections between raw materials
This session is accompanied by a Black Magic Box of 32 floral, natural and synthetic raw materials in different extracts (essential oils, CO2, molecules, etc.). It is sold outside the cost of training.
