MALLE, THE COLLECTOR OF PERFUMERS

We continue the reviews on the brands and the study of their perfumes, to finally deconstruct one of them.

We initiated these magazines with the MUGLER universe, that of YSL, then that of DIOR, CHANEL, GUERLAIN, HERMES to move towards niche perfumery with SERGE LUTENS.

This next review studies the perfumes and perfumers of Frédéric Malle’s EDITIONS DE PARFUMS.

We had olfactorily dissected Mugler’s “Cologne”, my mother’s YSL “OPIUM” perfume, Dior’s warm “Farhenheit”, we passed behind Coco’s “Coromandel”, entered the gardens of “Shalimar”, glimpsed ‘LE JOUR’ by Hermès, looked for ‘FEMINITE DU BOIS’ by Serge Lutens.
