Diptyque, illuminated perfumes

We continue the reviews on brands and the study of their perfumes, to finally deconstruct one of them.

We started these reviews with the MUGLER universe, that of YSL, then that of DIOR, CHANEL, GUERLAIN, HERMES to move towards niche perfumery with pioneers like SERGE LUTENS and LES EDITIONS DE PARFUMS by Frédéric Malle.

This next review studies another pioneer of this confidential perfumery with the DIPTYQUE brand.

We had olfactorily dissected Mugler’s “Cologne”, my mother’s perfume YSL “OPIUM”, the warm “Farhenheit” by Dior, we went behind Coco’s “Coromandel”, entered the gardens of “Shalimar”, glimpsed ‘LE JOUR’ by Hermès, looked for Serge Lutens’ ‘FEMINITE DU BOIS’, compared 2 roses, that of “Portrait of the lady” and “Lipstick Rose” by Frédéric Malle editions.
