INSTILL THE NOTION OF SMELLS IN THE DESIGN

In 2014, OSMOART and the Lycée Rive Gauche, with the students of the Higher Diploma of Applied Arts DSAA mention “object design”, set up a partnership which was seen to emerge several viable projects, these were turned towards a range of niche, luxury scent.

Satisfied by the result of this experience, we decided to collaborate again with, this time, the 2nd year students of the DNMADE (National Diploma of Art and Design Trades) and those of the BTS Product Design whose project results were just as creative!

Our meeting with these new students began with an olfactory conference on this new profession of olfactory designer and the integration of the very notion of smell and perfume in product and space design.

Then, the object design project was for the students to appropriate a box containing 8 bottles.

The results have been diverse but nevertheless very creative.
